Is it worth to sub back?

So i found myself bored this weekend and wanted to try Warhammer again to see how things are going (down to 1 server so things cant be that great). But it seems there is no way to log onto my old account without resubbing (which is a pretty good reason why this game is almost dead) so i am just asking if i were to resub what should i expect?

I have a lvl20/30ish player that i would like to level. Are there still enough people leveling to fill BG's (i forget what they are called ingame) in the lower levels?

Once i reach max level what should i expect then?

I resubed couple of weeks ago after using my 2 free weeks. I have chars for T1, T2 and T4 zones and all three are very active. Currently there's a live event in Ekrund and Mount Bloodhorn (T1 RvR zone) so most evenings there are couple of warbands fighting there. Characters of any lvl can join the event because they get lowered to lvl 10 - 15.

A very weird situation is developing now.

I created a free account, downloaded the game loged into the server and asked a few people about their experienced in WAR and how populated the servers age. Came to the decision the game is worth giving a try again, logged out resubbed my account and i am now trying to login..EXCEPT I CANT! IT IS DOWNLOAD A waaaghwaaaghwaaaghwaaaghING PATCH THAT IS GOING CRAZY SLOW. 2HRS IN I HAVE ONLY DOWNLOADED 10% OF THE waaaghwaaaghwaaaghwaaaghING PATCH.

Why the waaaghwaaaghwaaaghwaaagh is it forcing me now to download this patch and why the waaaghwaaaghwaaaghwaaagh is it so slow? Downloading the game before i subbed the download rate was decent, but this..this is pathetic. I know, 100%, the issue is not on my end. My computer and internet is functioning normally (http://speedtest.net/result/2466886022.png)

This is really pissing me off. I tried relogging into my free account and it is still trying to patch.
