No, really.. I thought I'd make a completely new thread to shamelessly advertise a GW2 5-7man WvW video I put together over Monday and Tuesday. Sorry to the people who are bored of GW threads, its just that I thought that it might interest some of the WAR community... Especially oldschool Azgal nubs.

In just 5-6 hours of one night on a Guild Wars 2 Stress Test Beta, "Care Police" brings you 16 minutes of pure awesomesauce. This video includes roaming low level WvW PvP on an underdog server with just a 5-7 man group, ranging from skirmishes, to kiting zergs, to keep defences.

SM 120 days played, BW 60 days played... few other R40 alts with ~10 days played... man I slacked big time for a 2008 early access nub...! o.O

Space Quest creators are making a new game

The Two Guys from Andromeda, creators of the Space Quest adventure game series (from Sierra in the '80s and '90s), have opened up their Kickstarter campaign for their new space adventure game. And they've got some nice voice talent lined up as well, including:

Solo white lion build ?

Just got my white lion to Lvl 27 and thought that i need to sort out my mastery trees out as I havent put any points into the tree's yet so wondering where they should go an I have just moved guild and there arent many players in my tier on at the time I'm on so my build has to be able to survive with out guard and heals most of the time or just kill really quickly so I don't need one

Hello!

No, i'm not trolling. I'm new! I played the free trial last year sometime, and only just came back to my account last night and decided to upgrade and see how good i can get. I mean: why not?

I'm interested in the quests and PVP, not really interested in high-end instanced PVE (i don't want to replay my WoW days). Currently i'm interested in finding a group of chatty players who wouldn't mind having one more voice in their chat, asking newbie questions and (hopefully) working towards being useful in the higher PvP tiers!

Seriously, not a troll. I'm glad i chose KN server cause otherwise my character would have been deleted ^.^

If you guys know of / are part of a group/guild who wouldn't mind having someone who likes to talk, help out, and not be a burden or a drain on resources (except perhaps your patience when you explain, once again, what reknown is :P) then please drop a reply!

WAR in 2012?

Hello guys, Im coming back to WAR and havent found any info about whats the current situation.
Iv read some older posts saying that WAR doesnt have Devs in full time job right now.

So hows the situation? Updates still keeping game fresh? Population alive and kicking?

I want to be informed on how its right now becouse Im going to try again a month or two :-).
Unless you are going to give me some horrible feedback then I will maybe rethink it.

Hello, Im going back to WAR and I want to start a BW (got a KOTBS already but I want to see those shiny numbers)

I dont really have any preference about playing style (I mean I could play any style if you could explain it to me :) )

So Im asking you guys to recommend me a build for RvR thats currently the best way to play bw, or you think it is (and why) As I said I dont have any preferences except I would like to see high numbers at the scs and overal dps, aoe isnt looking bad too :-).

/edit Also I forgot to mention that Im going to play with small group (2-3) people all the time (not sure if some of them is healer)

Nerfed Buttons Question

I realize this will probably stem conversations about using it but oh well...

I'm playing around with a DoK and am primarily a keyboard only player. Targeting myself and others with heals is a pain. I was trying to create a very simple sequence:

Target Self
Cast [Restore Essence]

Is there a way to do this within the sequence builder or using a / command?

Anyone find a use for +8% crit apoth mat?

I've tried seeing what use this is but I can't find it. They're no use on anything that requires an extender because you lose stability when you swap out a goldweed. +8% crit probably wouldn't make up for half number produced items anyway. If I use it on stuff that doesn't need extender you sacrifice x5 multiplier and produce 1 pot. That's not worth +8% crit chance because you're starting off with 400% less pots, it's a net loss. You can't use them on stuff that doesn't need extender or multiplier such as lotd pots. Am I wrong in thinking it only gives 8% "better" rather than "awesome"? It seems they are useless unless they add stability stat to it. The only thing I haven't tried is with 200 purple container but it probably wouldn't work out financially because of the cost of the pot.

Is there a use?

Just looking for a couple players who would like a permanent/temporary home for themselves and/or alts. Simply put, the main purpose of recruitment will be to help in leveling up the guild.

Crafting ingredients and pots will be provided (within reason) to members should they desire/need them.

PvE runs may be setup depending on how many members the guild has and/or if any aid can be recieved from other guilds/players (mostly from steadfast alliance).

There is no tax rate, and anyone who is interested in joining is welcome to. There are no set rates on your characters class, race and/or 'skill-level' in order to apply.

Since WvWvW is clearly subar to Warhammer pre 1.4(or even 1.3.6) experience(NC Soft should copy War RvR before 1.4, not AFTER 1.4, but damn them koreans, it's their money :D), server vs server being wiped out every 2 weeks won't let any serious drama rolling on, not to mention dumbing down 5vs5(compared to GW1), in your opinion, what should the community target for in upcoming months? Is there any decent MMO about to be released before end of 2012?

Diablo 3 have any potential of being succesful MMO? Fifa 2013(GW2 like roleplaying experience)? How about this new Bllizard project we should start getting excited about?
